Frequently Asked Questions

How often should you change your oil?

Most new Mercedes-Benz is equipped with a very sophisticated oil quality monitor system. The system looks at driving speed, cold starts, short-distance trips and other factors that can affect the engine oil life. So the computer system will dictate when the next service is due. For older models, we'd suggest the general rule of changing the oil every year in very low-milage vehicles or every 4000 to 5000 miles for high-milage vehicles.

If my car is under warranty, should I take to the car to dealership?

No.You don't have to. As long as you have your car serviced by a qualified independent repair facility. A1 Euro Auto meets manufacturers requirements to keep your warranty current. You should take your car to the dealer if you have a service contract with your dealer for free maintenance.

Should I buy extended warranty?

If you will keep your car for more than 3 years, then you should buy the extended warranty. Watch out for exclusions that deny coverage for any reason and other terms that could cost extra when repairs are made. Common repairs for parts like brakes and clutches generally are not included in extended warranty.
